Bio Pages
A bio page (bio profile) puts all your links, content and contact forms on one page at linked.is/your-name. You manage bio pages under Bio Profile in the dashboard sidebar.
Create a bio page
- Open Bio Profile and click Add New.
- Choose one of the options:
- Add Bio Profile - Enter a Profile Name and click Create.
- Create with AI - Let the AI Profile Creator build the page from your public profiles. See AI Bio Generation.
- Add Link - Takes you to Shortened Links to create a short link instead.
- Click the new profile in the list to open the editor.
The page address is generated from the profile name. You can change it in the editor. The profile is created in the workspace that is currently selected.
The Bio Profiles list lets you filter by name. Use the Actions menu on a row to Edit profile, Copy profile URL, Open in new tab or Delete profile.
The editor
The editor has three tabs: Settings, Blocks and Stats. A live preview of the page is shown next to the editor, and you can open it in full screen.
Profile details
At the top of the Settings tab you can edit:
- Avatar - JPEG, PNG or WebP, up to 2 MB, between 200×200 and 4096×4096 pixels.
- Display Name - Shown at the top of your page.
- Bio - A short introduction, up to 500 characters.
- Profile Link - The page address,
linked.is/your-slug. Use at least 3 characters: letters, numbers, hyphens and underscores. The slug can't already be used by another bio profile or short link.
Blocks
Open the Blocks tab and click Add Block to add content. The blocks are grouped into three categories, and you can search them by name.
| Category | Blocks |
|---|---|
| Standard | Link, Heading, Paragraph, Avatar, Image, Socials, Divider, Spacer |
| Advanced | Email Collector, Phone Collector, Contact Form, Countdown, FAQ |
| Embeds | YouTube, Spotify, SoundCloud, Vimeo, Twitch, TikTok Video, Twitter/X, Instagram |
- Link blocks need a Button Text and a URL, and can have an Icon.
- Socials holds a list of social profile links.
- Countdown counts down to a Target Date (the time is optional).
- FAQ shows a list of questions and answers.
- Image accepts an uploaded image or an image URL.
Drag blocks by their handle to reorder them. You can also edit, hide or delete each block. Hidden blocks stay in the editor but aren't shown on your page.
Themes and customizations
In the Settings tab, expand Select preset themes and pick one of six themes: Simple, Modern, Minimal, Bold, Elegant or Dark.
Under Customizations you can also change the Background Color, Text Color and Button Style (Rounded, Pill or Square).
Page settings
The Settings tab has more sections. Click Save All Settings after changing them.
- Branding - Hide Linked.is branding removes the "Create your own linked.is" footer.
- Pixels - Add a Facebook Pixel ID and a Google Analytics ID to track visits to the page.
- UTM Parameters - UTM Source, UTM Medium and UTM Campaign are added to the links on your page, so the sites you link to can see the traffic came from your bio page.
- Protection - Sensitive content warning shows a warning that visitors must accept before the page appears. Password Protection asks visitors for a password before they can see the page. Leave the password empty for no password, or click Remove password to remove it.
- SEO - Set a Meta Title and Meta Description for search engines and link previews, or turn on Hide from search engines.
- Branded button - Add a button with your own Button Text and Button URL to the bottom of the page.
- Advanced - Add Custom CSS to restyle the page, or Custom JavaScript. Custom JavaScript only runs when the page is opened on your own custom domain, never on linked.is.
When you share your bio page, the link preview uses your profile picture.
Forms and the Inbox
The Email Collector, Phone Collector and Contact Form blocks collect information from your visitors. The Contact Form asks for a name, an email address and a message.
Every submission goes to your Inbox in the sidebar. A badge shows the number of unread entries, and you get a notification for each new submission. If the profile belongs to a team workspace, every member of that workspace is notified.
In the Inbox you can switch between All and Unread. Opening an entry marks it as read. When the visitor left an email address, you can copy it or reply. Replying opens your own email app with the message you wrote.
Submissions stay in the Inbox even if you later delete the form block.
Stats
The Stats tab shows page views, how many times each button on your page was clicked, and where your visitors come from. See Analytics.
Your own domain
With a Pro or Team plan you can serve a bio page from the root of your own domain, such as example.com. See Custom Domains.
